Underground Production Foreman

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Supervise and provide direction to hourly employees in production and/or utility work
• Plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate with the Assistant Shift Foreman all mining and/or utility projects
• Supervise coal production, power moves, belt moves, timber and cribbing, stopping construction, water line set-ups, and other associated activities as assigned
• Adopt and follow the Beckley Complex Safety philosophy of achieving an injury-free workplace
• Actively support and promote the Behavioral Based Safety program -- WOLVES

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of five (5) years of underground mining experience
• Previous successful supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Dust certification or an ability to obtain
• EMT certification a plus
• WV Mine Foreman Certification
