Surveyor / Rodman

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Provide Rodman and Surveying services to underground mining operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Perform underground and surface surveying as part of the surveying team, primarily as Rodman
• Willing to learn operation of surveying instruments and take on additional survey responsibilities
• Work with engineers in design of new mine projections and projects
• Interface daily with underground supervisors

 PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Two years of experience in surface and/or underground surveying
• Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a plus
• WV Experienced Miner
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required

 POSITION WILL REPORT TO:       Manager of Engineering
