Prep Plant Maintenance Planner

PRIMAY FUNCTION: Plan and coordinate mechanical and electrical equipment repairs, availability, utilization and the scheduling of service.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Maintains equipment registers, equipment service schedules, and equipment availability.
• Coordinates equipment downtime with operations, provides equipment analysis and resource costs to the component level.
• Coordinates with warehouse personnel on warranty issues, core recovery, and parts ordering.
• Keeps work orders and component information on all equipment for warranty tracking and equipment and component history.
• Assists Maintenance Engineer on PdM program to monitor assets.
• Develops Ellipse reporting procedures and reports as required.
• Provides reports/graphics to measure established KPI's and programs.
• Assist in developing a preventative maintenance program for each piece of equipment and makes recommendations to replacements/ rebuilds.
• Assists in establishing a budgeting and analysis system for the maintenance department.
• Establishes future planning for maintenance department including manpower, skills needed, duration, materials and reports.
• Ensures Manufacturer's maintenance and safety standards are met.
• Assists in negotiating agreements with vendors, contractors.
• Actively support and promote the Behavioral Based Safety program -- WOLVES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 - 3 years Maintenance experience
• Understanding of all maintenance on all plant equipment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA degree in Engineering Maintenance or similar function
• Electrical Certification
• EMT-M
