Bathhouse Attendant

Location: Arch Beckley Mining Complex (Eccles, WV)

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

To successfully maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the Beckley Complex by performing multiple functions pertaining to the facilities and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Perform cleaning and/or sanitizing duties at the Mine Office/Bathhouse, Prep Plant Office/Bathhouse, and other areas of the complex
• Sweep and mop all areas of the building
• Wax and buff floors throughout the building when needed
• Empty all trash throughout the facility
• Dust tops of employee lockers
• Clean windows throughout the building
• Clean, disinfect, and restock (soap, toilet paper, and paper towels) in all bathrooms
• Clean kitchen areas including sinks, counters, appliances, and drink coolers
• Extra cleaning to prepare for tours or special visits and during mine shutdown periods
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory
• Perform light maintenance work including changing light bulbs and filters
• Maintain outside of the building including sweeping and shoveling sidewalks and landscape areas
• Ability to work extra shifts when asked
• Be safety conscious at all times
• Able to work unsupervised, if necessary
• Able to follow all policies and procedures at all times
• Work well with all other team members
• Maintain a good and professional attitude at all times
• Actively participate and support the company's Behavior Based Safety Process.
• Assist with the upkeep and calibration of Mine Equipment.
• Keep accurate and legible records in regard to the calibration and/or testing of equipment, consistent with Federal, State, and Company Policies.
• Job duties will require employees to lift/move heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and work from elevated surfaces.
• Tasks will require employees to work in conditions such as heat, cold, snow, and rain at times.
• Duties will require employees to work with, and around, cleaning and disinfecting chemicals.
• Other duties as determined by Management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Safety Sensitive Card
• Excellent communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Previous bathhouse experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
